Royal Trophy Winners 2025

We are delighted to share that the band won the Championship Section at the West of England Bandsmen’s Festival on Saturday 21st June!

This means that they successfully defended the Royal Trophy!

The band won the melody – ‘In Perfect Peace’, and the test piece – ‘A Tale As Yet Untold’.

Best Soprano – Les Kneebone

Best Cornet – Lia Teague

Best Flugel – Jo Mackenzie

Best Horn – Jo ScottBest Euphonium and Best Player in Section – John Hitchens

Best Trombone Section – Dave, Tom, and Dom

Best Bass Section – Dave, Zach, Matt, and Kevin
