The Christmas Season

On Sunday 22nd December, the band performed a wonderful Christmas concert in Crowan to draw to a close what has been a very successful month!

The band begun carolling on 30th November, and did so every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday leading up to Christmas, bringing joy and festivity to hundreds of people.

The band extends a massive thank you to all those who came along with the band each week to collect, we really appreciate it!

A small group from the band also performed some carols on Radio Cornwall, on the David White Show. Follow the link below to listen on BBC Sounds:

The band rounded off their concert season with their annual concert at Crowan Church!

The gusty winds outside didn’t keep people away, and the church was packed full of a lovely audience!

It was a hugely successful concert, which showcased a number of new pieces from the band, some congregational carols, and our famous Christmas jumper competition.

A huge thank you must go to the band’s president, David Roberts, for organising the concert, and our musical director, Gareth Churcher, for putting together such a brilliant programme.

Thank you also to the members of the band who have worked hard each weekend to bring the festive spirit to people, and to raise funds for the band.
