Acid Brass

Fresh from playing at Truro Cathedral, the band opted for some 90s rave classics the following weekend!

On Saturday 19th October, the band travelled to Plymouth to perform Jeremy Deller’s ‘Acid Brass’.

We are always looking to bring brass banding to a wider audience; showcasing just how flexible they can be, and the band are proud to be able to perform in such diverse projects.

This project formed part of a collaboration with the National Gallery and The Box Plymouth.

The day consisted of two public performances, which were met with great enthusiasm, and even some dancing!

The band were very grateful to be involved in such a brilliant project!

A massive congratulations to the organisers of the event, especially Rhys Morgan and Simon Dobson for all their hard work, and for inviting us along!
