On Saturday 7th February, Camborne Town Band took part in the annual Festival of Brass, organised by the Cornwall Brass Band Association, held at St Michael’s Church in Newquay.
The event brought together 19 brass bands from across Cornwall, with each ensemble presenting a 25-minute concert programme to celebrate the depth and diversity of brass band music in the region.
Camborne Town Band was proud to be part of such a significant occasion for Cornish banding, performing alongside a wide range of talented musicians and demonstrating the continued strength of the movement across the county.
The band extends its sincere thanks to the organisers, volunteers, and supporters whose efforts made the day possible. The Festival of Brass remains an innovative and important showcase for the rich brass band tradition in Cornwall.
